Interschool Partnerships
Our pupils benefit from extending their relationships to include pupils from other schools in the local area. We welcome opportunities throughout the year to invite other schools to join us for events including singing afternoons, World Cup Sport Events, invitations to watch our Year 6 play, language events and creative arts events.
Our teachers and their colleagues from other independent and state schools benefit from the opportunity to share ideas and good practice in a relatively informal nature via these events. We appreciate the energy, skill and creativity additional children and their teachers bring to events at Oakwood. We are proud of our pupil’s ability to warmly welcome and include other children.
Our Senior Leadership Team host events to meet with other leaders in education to foster strong inter-school relationships and share successful initiatives.
