Energy, enthusiasm, fun, patience, compassion and understanding.

What are the best ways to encourage and motivate children?

It is important to take time to know and understand each individual, to celebrate their strengths and support their weaknesses.

What do you think makes Oakwood special?

Everyone (staff, pupils and parents) is known and valued. We are a unique supportive family.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at school?

Spending time with my friends and family.

What is one of your favourite Oakwood memories?

Watching my own children grow and develop.

What is your favourite time of year at Oakwood?

Summer Term - celebrating the successes throughout the year and watching the children embracing new challenges happily and confidently.

What would you do if you weren’t a teacher?

Embrace a career in the hospital again.
